Lowcountry House Rabbit Society
We are a non-profit rabbit rescue organization based here in the Charleston, SC area. Our primary focus is to save the lives of domestic rabbits through rescue, fostering, and adopting out rabbits who have been dumped at area shelters and are out of time. We also strive to save rabbits' lives by educating the general public about proper rabbit care and health, so that they may become better equipped to care for their own rabbits as well as to make informed decisions as to whether or not a rabbit is the right pet for their families.
**Lowcountry HRS is temporarily discontinuing taking in rabbits from the area shelters because of lack of foster homes and volunteer help. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit, please check with your local shelter. If you are unsuccessful, please fill out our contact form, as we may know of one or more rabbits in the area that are in need of homes.
Clearance! 
We have a few large rabbit condos that are on clearance because they are taking up space in a storage facility (which we must pay for!). Approximate measurements are 48" wide x 26" deep. There are two heights; app. 3 ft tall for smaller rabbits, and app. 3.5 ft tall for larger rabbits. These normally sell for $200-250 and are on clearance for only $100 each!!!

If you are interested in purchasing a condo, please contact us via our email form or call our hotline at 843-556-6004. We can arrange to have you meet us at our storage facility in West Ashley for you to purchase your condo--you will need a truck, larger SUV, or mini-van to get it home as they are quite large. These are really sturdy, comfortable for the rabbits, and really enjoyable for them as well! Even if your rabbit is free roam around your home, he or she may really enjoy having one of these to be his or her own private home!

Hay!!!
We have lots of fresh, green hay for sale! 20 lb bags for $25! Please contact us if you are interested. We do not have a storefront but will arrange to meet you in as convenient a location as possible. This hay is wonderful and smells great. The rabbits love it!
